City of Miami Commission Chairman Keon Hardemon and the Southeast Overtown / Park West Community Redevelopment Agency (“CRA”) in partnership with the Overtown Neighborhood Enhancement Team Office (“NET”) will kick off the holiday season with the 8th Annual Historic Overtown Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony. Community leaders, local residents, and business owners are invited to join the celebration on Friday, December 9, 2016.

The annual tree lighting ceremony will take place on NW 3rd Avenue between 10th & 11th Street from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. This festive event will once again feature a FREE toy give away for Overtown children, holiday music, a special visit from Santa Claus, face painting and complimentary refreshments for the community to enjoy.
