SUMMARY:

The lecture series will feature Dr. David C. Driskell and Professor Curlee R. Holton on December 7th, 2019 at 2:30pm. This is a lecture that is National in nature, with a focus on African American art history, and the life and times of Dr. David C. Driskell.

The second lecture will be on the art of collecting fine art, and the importance of understanding from an estate prospective how to gift your art to other parties upon your transition. This lecture will take place on December the 8th, 2019 at 2:30pm.

There will be a reception for Professor Holton, and Dr. Driskell immediately following the December, 7th 2019 lecture. This reception allows those in the community to interact directly with  these fine art Icons (Dr.Driskell, and Professor Holton) in a more intimate setting.\

The fine art exhibit and sale will occur on December, 5th – 10th, 2019. The exhibit and sale will have works of art from iconic art figures, mid-career, and emerging artist. However, the main focus will be on artist considered to be icons in the fine art realm.
