The Black Pepper Food Festival, held on April 20, 2019, will feature South Florida’s black-owned restaurants, chefs, and small businesses at the Urban located at 1000 NW 2nd Avenue in Overtown. The SEOPW CRA sponsored the participation of five restaurants from the Overtown community such as Jackson’s Soul Food, House of Wings, Lil Greenhouse, Two Guys and World Famous House of Mac. The event will feature live entertainment, cooking stations and more. Entry is free and open to the public.
