10 Feb CRA JOINS VILLAS OF ST. AGNES TO CELEBRATE COMPLETION OF FENCE INSTALLATION PROJECT
MIAMI, FL | February 10, 2016 – The Southeast Overtown / Park West Community Redevelopment Agency (SEOPW CRA) is pleased to announce the completion of the fence installation project at Villas of St. Agnes. On Monday, February 6, 2017, the SEOPW CRA along with the Office of Miami City Commission Chairman Keon Hardemon and City Officials joined residents and members of the Villas of St. Agnes Condo Association to celebrate this milestone with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
Villas of St. Agnes is located in the heart of the Historic Overtown neighborhood and features Key West style single-family homes with beautiful wrap around porches. In 2013, the SEOPW CRA Board of Commissioners approved the issuance of a $150,000 grant to the Villas of St. Agnes Condominium Association for the installation of a new fence to be erected around the development. The funding was provided to the association after homeowners of the single-family community expressed concerns of trespassers coming onto the private property. The installation of the fence will enable residents to feel secure and continue to add to the beautification of the neighborhood.
